Mold, shape, build, fill, stack, "bake" mudpies - there is no end to creative and tactile play in an old-fashioned sandbox! Our Deluxe Sandbox has a roof that doubles as a cover. It is made of sturdy, weather-resistant spruce wood with supportive side poles and a crossbar for attaching the protective vinyl roof. The side crank controls up/down movement of roof. In the up position it protects your children from sun and showers. In the down position, it keeps debris, rain and exploratory cats out...so the Sandbox is always clean and dry for your children's play. The outside is a generous 56" square with an 8" H bench with a bottomless inside that is 44" square and holds 200-400 lbs of sand. Made in Austria from water-treated pine wood safe for children and pets. Some assembly is required. For ages 1 year and up.
